Missouri Green Banc (MGB), in collaboration with the Missouri Clean Energy District (MCED) deploys USDA Intermediary Relending Program (IRP) funds through a Target Fund to finance commercial, agricultural and multifamily property improvements that reduce energy costs and modernize local infrastructure. Through data-driven selection, recipient communities represent a microcosm of rural disinvestment where even small-scale credit access can yield outsized community impact. The project is intended to inform a statewide replication framework and attract co-investment from philanthropic, institutional, and public-sector partners.
