Energy Auditors

C-PACE for Energy Auditors is a free MGB Academy course on turning audit findings into funded projects in Missouri. It is offered by Missouri Green Banc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit green bank in Chesterfield, Missouri, that administers the Missouri Clean Energy District, the statutory C-PACE authority under § 67.2800 RSMo. An energy audit identifies improvements; the owner still needs a way to pay for them. The course shows how NPCA — National PACE Capital Access — connects commercial property owners with capital providers and contractors suited to the scope, and how audit measures map to fundable project elements. It covers the economic benefit standard that governs Missouri C-PACE, under which a savings-to-investment ratio of 1.0 or better is certified by a qualified engineer. The course runs about 33 minutes across eight segments, is self-paced, and includes ten job aids plus a capstone worksheet for scoping a fundable measure package. Participants receive an MGB Academy course completion certificate at no cost.
