C-PACE for Contractors is a free MGB Academy course that teaches commercial contractors how Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy financing works in Missouri and how to use it to close larger retrofit projects. The course is offered by Missouri Green Banc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit green bank in Chesterfield, Missouri, that administers the Missouri Clean Energy District — the statutory C-PACE authority under § 67.2800 RSMo, serving more than 300 member communities covering roughly 62% of Missouri’s population. Contractors who complete the course earn an MGB Academy course completion certificate and the Missouri Green Banc Certified C-PACE Contractor credential, and can register work elements on the NPCA contractor track, where NPCA — National PACE Capital Access — surfaces them to Missouri property owners with funded projects. The course covers six modules across 21 video segments, roughly 72 minutes on camera and 2 to 2.5 hours of self-paced seat time, with seven downloadable job aids. Owners select their contractor independently. There is no fee to take the course and no fee to register.
