C-PACE for Loan Brokers is a free MGB Academy course for commercial loan brokers and capital advisors placing Missouri debt. It is offered by Missouri Green Banc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit green bank in Chesterfield, Missouri, that administers the Missouri Clean Energy District, the statutory C-PACE authority under § 67.2800 RSMo. Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy financing fills gaps conventional lenders decline, funding building improvements through a long-term assessment repaid over up to 20 years, not exceeding the weighted average useful life of the improvements. The course shows how NPCA — National PACE Capital Access — surfaces best-fit capital providers to an owner’s project, how to screen a project for C-PACE before spending time on it, and how senior lender consent is obtained. It runs 26 to 28 minutes across seven segments, is self-paced, and includes ten job aids with a pipeline screening card. Brokers register with MGB Academy; there is no NPCA participant type for brokers. The course is free and NPCA participation is fee-free.
