ESCOs

C-PACE for Energy Services Companies is a free MGB Academy course for ESCOs delivering performance contracts in Missouri. It is offered by Missouri Green Banc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit green bank in Chesterfield, Missouri, that administers the Missouri Clean Energy District, the statutory C-PACE authority under § 67.2800 RSMo. Performance contracting works when savings hold up over the full term, and Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy financing is built for that horizon: Missouri assessments run up to 20 years, not exceeding the weighted average useful life of the improvements. This course is a companion to the C-PACE Contractor Certification course and covers what changes when an ESCO delivers the project, including guaranteed savings and measurement and verification alongside the economic benefit standard. ESCOs register work elements on the NPCA contractor track — NPCA is National PACE Capital Access — where owners see best-fit candidates; there is no separate ESCO registration and no separate credential. The course covers five modules and thirteen segments, about 33 minutes on camera and roughly one hour of seat time, with seven job aids, and is free.
