C-PACE for Property Managers is a free MGB Academy course for commercial property management firms operating in Missouri. It is offered by Missouri Green Banc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit green bank in Chesterfield, Missouri, that administers the Missouri Clean Energy District, the statutory C-PACE authority under § 67.2800 RSMo. Managed buildings need work that reserves and operating budgets will not cover. Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy financing funds those improvements through a long-term assessment on the property, turning deferred capital plans into scheduled work. The course shows how deferred capital items map to fundable project elements, how the economic benefit standard and engineer certification work, and how NPCA — National PACE Capital Access — surfaces best-fit capital providers and contractors. The owner signs the assessment contract; the property manager does not sign on the owner’s behalf. The course runs about 30 minutes across seven segments, is self-paced, and includes ten job aids released as the course progresses.
